Juniper 2021–2026

Director of Design, Product Development & Marketing

Returned in 2021 on the product side; Director from 2022, with marketing added in 2025. Running the full design, product development, and marketing function: ownership of new product development, marketing strategy, and the operational systems that ship product through digital design and digital manufacturing at our Southington, Connecticut facility.

Medium Green 2018–2020

Co-Founder & Partner

A design and fabrication studio in New York and Hudson, NY. Complex custom projects for high-profile artists and architects: design development, fabrication coordination, construction project management, and installation. The studio continues under my former partner as Primary Visual.

Juniper 2016–2018

Production Manager → Design & Operations Manager

Joined running production, including delivery of large-scale custom hospitality programs, then added design and operations ownership: technical architectural lighting and accessories at the component level, custom electronics and LED light engines, functional and technical design review across the catalog, and NRTL testing.

Lights Up 2007–2016

Creative Director

One of the first lighting brands widely available via ecommerce. Modern decorative lighting combining overseas manufacturing with in-house shade-making. Worked with the founder to build mass-customizable collections on a modular product structure.

  3. THIN Shared Task Lamp Adaptation & technical design · 2017 Adapted from Peter Bristol's THIN System line, with grommet-mounted controls.
  4. USB Charger Technical design · 2017 Technical design of the in-surface, grommet-mounted USB charger from the THIN System line by Peter Bristol.
  5. Power Outlet Design & product development · 2024–2025 The in-wall receptacle in the Ground Control line: solid brass, made to disappear into good millwork.
  6. Metropolis Wall-to-Wall Technical re-engineering for production · 2019–2021 Designed by David Meckley for Juniper.
